Brittney Portes, the founder of Gardens of Sol, a platform that provides edible garden consulting, gardening workshops, and educational resources. She is also the lead gardener of the Montclair State University community plots. She encourages intensive growing methods, often seen in urban agriculture, to grow as much food as possible, and as sustainably and organically as possible, in the small space.
