This lecture will present a summary of the events that defined the Holocaust, touching upon the foundational Antisemitic beliefs that existed in Europe through the use of death camps built by the Nazis. Through an examination of speeches, propaganda, and the political environment in Germany, the group will gain a greater understanding of how the Holocaust happened and the different stages of the worst atrocity in human history. Additionally, the lecture will discuss how genocides occur and if they can be prevented.
