This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of Welding. It provides the student with opportunities for hands-on training in Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) and oxy-fuel gas welding.  The students will also be instructed in the safe use of a plasma cutter, oxyacetylene cutting torch, various saws and grinders.  The students will receive training in welding and machine shop safety practices including proper PPE protocol. They will also use skills learned to produce welds and projects. (e.g. Butt, Lap, Tee, etc.)

– Classes are held two nights per week,  Wednesdays and alternating Mondays and Thursdays 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM - $750.00 (cost does not Include supply fee if needed)
