Richard K. Rein began his professional career as a journalist more than 60 years ago as a summer reporter for the Binghamton Evening Press. He has written for the Daily Princetonian, Time Magazine, People, and New Jersey Monthly, among other publications. He has also edited and written for two publications that he founded: the print newspaper U.S. 1, and the online TAPinto Princeton Community News. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book that was reviewed in The New York Times: American Urbanist: How William H. Whyte's Unconventional Wisdom Reshaped Public Life
Charles Stile is a veteran New Jersey journalist who began his career in the 1980s at the Princeton Packet. He has been an award-winning political columnist for the Bergen Record since 2007. Frequently asked to be a speaker at forums on NJ government and politics, he most recently was the featured guest on New York Public Radio’s prestigious Brian Lehrer show.
In 1980, Pam Hersh began her journalism career at the Princeton Packet newspapers and held positions of beat reporter, section editor, and finally managing editor of the Princeton Packet. Since 1990, she has held communications and government affairs administrative positions with Princeton University, Princeton Hospital, a higher education association, and currently the office of a state senator. For the past 45 years, in addition to any other job she has held, she has been writing a weekly newspaper column for the Packet and now for TAPinto Princeton.
